Hi, and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here, and I’d love to share a bit about why I started this journey.
I worked as a paediatric nurse in the NHS for nearly two decades. I always felt so honoured to support families through some of their most difficult moments, offering comfort and care when they needed it most. But as much as I loved the work, life had a way of throwing me into a new direction.
After having my second child, I found myself struggling with something I hadn’t expected, crazy hormones and multiple lockdowns left me exhausted and on the edge. I also felt disconnected from my body, It was as though I didn’t recognise myself anymore. I was exhausted, out of balance, and unsure how to get back to feeling like “me” again.
That experience was a turning point. I began a journey of reconnecting with my health, learning how food, movement, and prioritising a little time for me could help restore a bit of calm. This journey wasn’t just about physical health, but about rediscovering who I was as a woman and a mum.
Now, as a qualified nutritionist, and a mum of two young boys and a step-mum to a teenager, I’m passionate about helping other mums who might be feeling the same way. I understand the challenges of motherhood and the feeling of losing yourself in the process. Through my work, I want to offer the same holistic approach that I valued so much during my nursing career - ensuring that you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make positive changes.
It's about so much more than just nutrition - it’s about reclaiming your sense of self, feeling vibrant and connected again, and thriving as yourself and as a mum.
